For The Love of Numbers

For the last year or so I've been seeing repetitive numbers that most people make wishes on.  (example: 11:11)

In the beginning I thought "stupid numbers,"

However these "stupid numbers" started showing up more frequently, which caused my analytical side to go bonkers.

"This doesn't seem to be a coincidence.."

Well, I decided to pay closer attention to them and the various times/scenarios happening when these numbers showed up.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Side notes: I believe in God. I am a firm believer that he speaks to people in mysterious ways.  In addition to that, I also feel that he speaks specific things into each individual(s) lives who (legitimately) build a relationship with him.
My conversations with God are always specific.  Things that I either want to see come to past, things I am questioning in life at that time/season, needing help or direction or simply praying for others and what they are going through.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I decided to refer to these repetitive numbers as, "love notes" by God.

I giggle telling you all of this because it sounds wild and unreal, however let me share a brief story as to where I get this wild conclusion from.

Early June, I attended a women's conference. We had just finished lunch and headed back into the gymnasium to finish off the rest of the day. So here is me, headed slowly back into my "assigned seat." (Yes, everyone had a specific seat assigned to them.  Just like a ticket to a concert.)

There on my seat was a sealed white envelope no name on it.  As a matter of fact, each woman in the gymnasium had one on their seat too.  Who wrote it, who know's.  So I opened it.  It read this ...

Jeremiah 33:3 (MSG)
'..Call to me and I will answer you. I'll tell you marvelous and wondrous things that you could never figure out on your own.'

I read it and immediately laughed. There it was the repetitive numbers (33:3).
But wait a minute...it told me something...

I'll tell you marvelous and wondrous things that you could never figure out on your own.'

Interesting, right?

Now if you really know me, I always try to come up with my own conclusions, my own solutions or answers.  It's terrible.

However God (being humorous and a man who uniquely speaks to me the only way he knows how to get through my thick head) drops hints like this on the regular basis for me.

Why have I ignored it all this time, probably because society or the natural world would think this is ridiculous.  In the chaotic times, its these "love notes" (that if I actually paid attention to) would give me a clearer sense of my situation(s) and perhaps answers to something I was inquiring about.

Another example of these"love note" droppings...took place in my life was when I analyzed my friendships.

I felt my friendships did not seem the same or perhaps I just started to realize that most of the friendships I had are/were just acquaintances more then anything.

I got really upset and frustrated about it all as I treat everyone equally, I want what I put out in my relationships with people and I usually give my all to anyone I meet.

So the typical emotions ran through my veins: anger, sadness, bitterness, hurt, pain, etc.

That day when the emotions were flying through the roof tops, I obtained my you-version bible app scripture email.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Side Note: Those of you who don't know, its a bible app on your phone.  If you allow it, it will send you a scripture each day.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Now notice the repetitive numbers (love note) on this one that said:

John 6:66 (MSG)
'After this a lot of his disciples left. They no longer wanted to be associated with him. Then Jesus gave the Twelve their chance: “Do you also want to leave?”

I thought about my emotional state and how this scripture can be relate-able or an answer per say.
Even Jesus's "main" side kicks turned their backs on him, questioned his ability and character...why should I get all rattled over foolish thoughts of my own not to mention how my friends/acquaintances are treating me?!  I should be content with who I am and what I bring to the table in my relationships with people.  If I am being who I am and things are not being reciprocated, that is on them, not me.

At the same time, perhaps I am changing, therefore the dynamics require adjusting!

So call me crazy or simply laugh at this post....but sometimes we should pay attention to the littlest things being shown to us....as you never know what is being shown for you to learn and pay attention to.

Answers get handed to you daily....you just need to pay attention.  They aren't always big and noticeable.

Just sayin'

Tis' the Season...

Christmas.
Funny how the true meaning of Christmas has literally faded for most.

We spend so much time in the hustle and bustle that we forget what Christmas is all about.
How about I give all of us, including myself, a little reminder and put that little spiritual sparkle back into hearts.
It's not about a big white bearded man in a red suit handing out presents or lying to the children telling them if they are naughty they won't get any presents under the decorated tree.

Christmas is about GIVING....
Sooo wait .... technically this Santa Claus has some of the concept right.  Haha.

So when I say GIVING, lets take a closer look at what I mean and where it all began...

The FATHER gave us his SON.

The Father being GOD...
The Son being Jesus...

The SON gave us his LIFE

Jesus gave his life on the cross for our sinful ways...

Without GIVING there is no true Christmas.

When you give without expectation it just gives you a little blissful feeling.  I challenge you to try it.

This Christmas Season, give something to someone you don't know, but when you are giving, give with a joy in your heart.

Forget the hustle and bustle all around you.

Think of how awesome it will be to be able to give something to someone and make them happy.

The gift of giving can be done in so many ways, so don't just automatically think spending tones of money is key.

Here's a few ideas...Try one....I dare ya to.

There has got to be more then this?

My alarm goes off.
I think to myself, just a few more minutes. Ugh I want more sleep!

Then I legit talk to God, ask him to give me strength and determination to roll off the bed, start the shower and get through the work day that's ahead of me.  This happens every morning throughout the work week.

The struggle to rise out of the comfortable bed I sleep in is SO real.

One would think I was sick, but I'm not.
I just ENJOY my sleep.

Monday-Friday the routine seems the same.
As does the struggle to wake up.

When I get to the parking lot and start my walk to work, I always imagine what it would be like to be heading to a position that I truly enjoyed.  That made me feel accomplished, important and as if I mattered and made that extra difference.

Then I picture myself singing my way into the shower, strutting into work with a dance move and
talking to people in the morning before a coffee is even consumed.

Ahhhhhhh...Pure Bliss.

Does that type of feeling even exist or happen in peoples lives when they go to a job they truly think is made for them?!  I've always wondered that?

Why, because the society we live in, it  just seems like everyone has something to complain about or their discontent with things. Like look around.  We all sit around and say "Can't wait till Friday"...ugh! I don't want to hear that anymore! haha.

I would love to be surrounded with people who are in that bliss state of mind.

I'd pick their brain for hours and truly listen to each word.  See how they got to that place physically and mentally.

We all work hard at what we do, but I feel so many of us are so conservative and narrow minded, we burn out our own dreams, hopes and desires.

Perhaps we simply just stay in a comfy area and never leave.

Ugh.
Pathetic. Re-reading that back to myself.

Today I took an aptitude test to see where I should be in life.
The results were humorous to me, however one of the results was an Elevator Installer/Technician.
Imagine that though?

The skies the limit.  If we limit ourselves to our comfort zones, we will NEVER move ahead in life.  That's when miserableness and wondering this world unhappy will take over!

Not for me!  Sorry!

Time to expand my horizons, stretch my limits and think outside the box (as I usually do)....but this time for myself, my goals and targets

Soulful Groove Hitting The Spot !

Ever hear a track and instantly fall in love!

The beat catches your attention and lyrically just makes you happy!  Brightens up your soul, mood and even makes you want to snap your fingers, bob your head and perhaps even break out in the two step?

Sadly enough, these days that type of track/song is hard to find but let me tell you I stumbled upon it today!!

Listening to a BBC London England station, yup I had enough of the local stations for the day,  track is called "Rather Be" by Clean Bandit Feat. Jess Glynne.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-M1AtrxztU

Check out the video clip there!!

I wish any song hitting the air waves had a meaning and/or told a story vs. discussing drugs, sex, profanity or just non-sense that doesn't even make sense.   I'm sure my readers feel me when I say this......can I get "hellllll yaaaa"  hahaha.

Anyway....I wanted to break down some of the lyrics in this track that just sent my soul on cloud 9.... Here goes....

...."" I would wait forever, exalted in the scene,
as long as I am with you, my heart continues to beat ""...

.... "" We're different and the same, gave you another name
Switch up the batteries

If you gave me a chance I would take it
It's a shot in the dark but I'll make it
Know with all of your heart, you can't tame me
When I am with you, there's no place I rather be """

...."" We set out on a mission, to find our inner peace
Make it everlasting so nothing's incomplete
It's easy being with you, sacred simplicity ""

Criminal Minds Anyone?

So typical lunch discussion today.

I always have something to say.  The topic was taking the 407....quickly my brain went into undercover mode type thinking and....

Man...if only I can have a car with a button that flipped over license plates.  I'd dodge that 407 photo snapper and that bill that randomly comes in the mail months later !

Hire a hacker to register each license plate on the car to a random made up Joe and boom......smooth sailing.  (giggles) ....as if I take the 407 much any ways, but it was a wicked scene that happened in my head.
Like a typical scene from the movie Jason Statham is in.  Transporter type-a-way.

Hahaha...
Best part of that quick undercover thinking motion ......is.... I'd never really do it.  Just think it would be awesome to have something of such available like that to me.  That moment would make life seem thrilling and give it a little excitement.  Can I get an "hell ya" ?

Just think what endless possibilities there would be if any vision or thought that comes to mind could actually happen...like legit ones in action movies!

Whaaaaaaaaaatttttttttttt.......I'd be a ninja several times of day...zap some people like Scott from X-men....and create some lighting like Storm and cause electricity to knock out at work to have a PAID day off.  Who's with me?

Picture me rollllinnnnnnnnn' and be hated (did you get the number of lyrical songs I've used thus far?)
Hahaha

If only super human powers were legit and real.  I'd probably be invisible, randomly make miracles happen for people yet at the same time...get rid of things that annoyed me hahhahaha

On that note....the real question here is readers......if you had super powers.....what would you want and what would be your purpose?

Writer's Block ?! Really?

I didn't think it existed.
Totally does.

I have had nothing to write about lately.
I think its because I've been content these last few weeks/month.

Getting ME back mentally and physically.

This is a good thing people.

Sad, only because I have no "topic" to throw out in the open.

I think now more then anything I need to get on a goal oriented mindset.  Figure out what my next accomplishment will be....give myself a time frame .....stay focused and get'her done!

This limbo and not writing is kinda killing me, as relaxing as it has truly been.....its kinda of driving me crazy!

Any who....just updating my fellow followers on what's up!

Toodles

Empty Place

I have reached a destination in my life that seems EMPTY.

A lot happened in the month of May and I have yet to shake it all off mentally.

If you know me, I am the type of person who overcomes everything eventually, but right now I am standing still way to long for my liking.

Physically my body is happier, but mentally I've hit a dark place. It sucks to know this and its upsetting as I know what it's like to be on CLOUD 9 both mentally and physically. So to be in a dark place you only want to see the light again!

The best part of this dark experience thus far
(yup spinning a tiny postive here) is I know I wont be in it for long...
It's like I look around within myself and think, why am I keeping myself in this place... It's like a trap I created all by myself....for what though?

I hate pity parties nor do I want to dance in one for ANY period of time....maybe for about 5 minutes, (haha) but anything past that time frame -
HELL NO!
Let's keep the bus moving.

My lack of motivation and my conversations with God....are at the point of life support. You hear the monitor beeping and sit there waiting for the body to RISE UP again and talk POSITIVE as if the journey you were just in never happened....but the monitor for me is not changing.
SELF is playing a HUGE role in not wanting to let this go -

BELIEVE and TRUST the man upstairs has more in store for my firecracker self !

The best part is so many people encourage me daily, check in on me, curious to see my next moves and goals and I really have NOTHING right now....
